After a stressful situation, white blood cell counts are lower then normal, which is why we tend to get sick. Massage greatly increases the creation of white blood cells which are your primary defense system. It helps reduce muscle tightness and can aid in loosening muscles due to overuse or abuse. There are so many things that massage does to assist the body to relax and heal, no wonder so many are turning to alternative medicine to help improve their lifestyle. |
